# Cold Crash vs Drone Transport Simulator

The clearest difference is monetization model: Cold Crash at free against Drone Transport Simulator's free with in-app purchases. Cold Crash also leads on rating (4.0 vs 3.8) and iOS requirement (9.3 vs 13.0). Drone Transport Simulator's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (10 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cold Crash sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Drone Transport Simulator sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cold Crash holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drone Transport Simulator has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Cold Crash ships an update every 4 months, Drone Transport Simulator every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
