# Zum vs EverDriven RideAware

The clearest difference is rating: Zum at 4.8 against EverDriven RideAware's 3.1. Zum also leads on ratings volume (7.8K vs 100). EverDriven RideAware's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Zum holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Zum has 7.8K ratings behind it against 100, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of Zum's written reviews are positive against 42% of EverDriven RideAware's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Zum ships an update every 2 weeks, EverDriven RideAware monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
