# Zum Driver vs Errand Driver

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Errand Driver at 100% against Zum Driver's 38%. Errand Driver also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). Zum Driver's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (370 vs 6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Zum Driver holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Zum Driver has 370 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of Zum Driver's written reviews are positive against 100% of Errand Driver's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Zum Driver ships an update every 5 weeks, Errand Driver weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
