# Trimble vs mJobTime

The clearest difference is rating: mJobTime at 5.0 against Trimble's 3.4. mJobTime also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Trimble's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (29 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

mJobTime holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trimble has 29 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Trimble ships an update every 3 weeks, mJobTime every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
