# Riot Mobile vs EA Connect

The clearest difference is ads: EA Connect at none against Riot Mobile's shown. EA Connect also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (4.9 vs 4.7). Riot Mobile's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 133) and review sentiment (34% vs 21%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EA Connect holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Riot Mobile has 13K ratings behind it against 133, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of Riot Mobile's written reviews are positive against 21% of EA Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Riot Mobile ships an update every 3 weeks, EA Connect fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 20, 2026.
