# VERISCAN™ vs Certi

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Certi at 100% against VERISCAN™'s 24%. Certi also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). VERISCAN™'s advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (1.7K vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

VERISCAN™ holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VERISCAN™ has 1.7K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 24% of VERISCAN™'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Certi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VERISCAN™ ships an update every 2 months, Certi every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
