# PrestoShopper vs GigSpot

The clearest difference is update cadence: PrestoShopper at every 2 weeks against GigSpot's every 3 months. GigSpot's advantage is ratings volume (1.4K vs 175) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.4). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PrestoShopper holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GigSpot has 1.4K ratings behind it against 175, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 23% and 22% positive.

PrestoShopper ships an update every 2 weeks, GigSpot every 3 months. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
