# Face Swap vs FaceMagic

Face Swap and FaceMagic both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 49% of Face Swap's written reviews are positive against 0% of FaceMagic's. Face Swap also leads on ratings volume (1.8K vs 10). FaceMagic's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Face Swap sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and FaceMagic sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for Face Swap against 4.3 for FaceMagic. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Face Swap has 1.8K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 49% of Face Swap's written reviews are positive against 0% of FaceMagic's.

Face Swap ships an update every 5 weeks, FaceMagic every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
