# 5 vs Capistrano USD

The clearest difference is update cadence: 5 at every 3 weeks against Capistrano USD's every 5 months. Capistrano USD's advantage is rating (2.2 vs 1.9). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Capistrano USD holds the better App Store score, 2.2 against 1.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 25 and 9 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of 5's written reviews are positive against 0% of Capistrano USD's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

5 ships an update every 3 weeks, Capistrano USD every 5 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
