# Paintstorm Studio vs Almighty Note Pro

The clearest difference is rating: Paintstorm Studio at 4.4 against Almighty Note Pro's 2.5. Paintstorm Studio also leads on ratings volume (368 vs 2). Almighty Note Pro's advantage is price ($4.99 vs $12.99) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Paintstorm Studio costs $12.99 and Almighty Note Pro $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Paintstorm Studio holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Paintstorm Studio has 368 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Paintstorm Studio's written reviews are positive against 69% of Almighty Note Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Paintstorm Studio ships an update every 4 months, Almighty Note Pro every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
