# Sibelius KeyPad vs ConnectionOpen

The clearest difference is monetization model: Sibelius KeyPad at free with in-app purchases against ConnectionOpen's subscription. Sibelius KeyPad also leads on ratings volume (142 vs 4) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). ConnectionOpen's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sibelius KeyPad sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and ConnectionOpen sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ConnectionOpen holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sibelius KeyPad has 142 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
