# Cookie Cats™ vs Closures

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Closures at none against Cookie Cats™'s 10. Closures also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Cookie Cats™'s advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 15 months) and ratings volume (4K vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cookie Cats™ sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Closures asks for nothing beyond the download.

Closures holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cookie Cats™ has 4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Cookie Cats™ ships an update every 11 days, Closures every 15 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
