# 名刊会 vs 星垂日记

The clearest difference is rating: 星垂日记 at 5.0 against 名刊会's 2.7. 星垂日记 also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 6 weeks). 名刊会's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and ratings volume (10 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 名刊会 sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and 星垂日记 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

星垂日记 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 名刊会 has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

名刊会 ships an update every 6 weeks, 星垂日记 every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
