# LockNote vs 粉萌日记

The clearest difference is monetization model: LockNote at free against 粉萌日记's free with in-app purchases. LockNote also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). 粉萌日记's advantage is review sentiment (84% vs 67%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LockNote sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and 粉萌日记 sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
