# LockNote vs 備忘録

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: 備忘録 at none against LockNote's 10. 備忘録 also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). LockNote's advantage is ratings volume (13 vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LockNote sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. 備忘録 asks for nothing beyond the download.

備忘録 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LockNote has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LockNote ships an update monthly, 備忘録 every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
