# LockNote vs Paletta

The clearest difference is device support: LockNote at 3 against Paletta's 1. LockNote also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LockNote sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Paletta sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LockNote ships an update every 3 weeks, Paletta fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
