# LockNote vs Leaf Diary

The clearest difference is update cadence: Leaf Diary at every 6 days against LockNote's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LockNote sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Leaf Diary sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LockNote ships an update monthly, Leaf Diary every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
