# camRE vs Remote Camera

The clearest difference is rating: Remote Camera at 5.0 against camRE's 2.5. Remote Camera also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1). camRE's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. camRE sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Remote Camera asks for nothing beyond the download.

Remote Camera holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: camRE has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
