# Widget Calendar vs Calendar Widget

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Widget Calendar at 74% against Calendar Widget's 5%. Widget Calendar also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and chart position (#130 vs unranked). Calendar Widget's advantage is price (Free vs $3.99) and rating (4.4 vs 4.0). On ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Calendar Widget is free to download; Widget Calendar costs $3.99 up front. Calendar Widget sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Widget Calendar asks for nothing beyond the download.

Calendar Widget holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Calendar Widget has 196 ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Widget Calendar's written reviews are positive against 5% of Calendar Widget's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Widget Calendar ships an update every 2 months, Calendar Widget every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
