# Wizi vs eFREND

The clearest difference is review sentiment: eFREND at 100% against Wizi's 12%. eFREND also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). Wizi's advantage is ratings volume (72 vs 1) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

eFREND holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wizi has 72 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 12% of Wizi's written reviews are positive against 100% of eFREND's.

Wizi ships an update every 2 months, eFREND weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
