# YG SELECT vs 케이타운포유

The clearest difference is monetization model: 케이타운포유 at free against YG SELECT's free with in-app purchases. 케이타운포유 also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). YG SELECT's advantage is ratings volume (27 vs 4). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

케이타운포유 holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YG SELECT has 27 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of YG SELECT's written reviews are positive against 28% of 케이타운포유's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

YG SELECT ships an update every 2 months, 케이타운포유 every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
