# Yandex Eats vs BUFFET

The clearest difference is rating: Yandex Eats at 4.7 against BUFFET's 3.9. Yandex Eats also leads on ratings volume (15K vs 9) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). BUFFET's advantage is review sentiment (25% vs 16%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Yandex Eats holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yandex Eats has 15K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 16% of Yandex Eats's written reviews are positive against 25% of BUFFET's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Yandex Eats ships an update weekly, BUFFET every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
