# VMAX Plus™ vs Sedona

The clearest difference is rating: VMAX Plus™ at 2.0 against Sedona's 1.5. VMAX Plus™ also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). Sedona's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

VMAX Plus™ holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 52 and 52 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of VMAX Plus™'s written reviews are positive against 16% of Sedona's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VMAX Plus™ ships an update every 2 months, Sedona every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
