# XWatch vs Scoreboard

The clearest difference is rating: Scoreboard at 4.4 against XWatch's 2.3. XWatch's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scoreboard sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. XWatch asks for nothing beyond the download.

Scoreboard holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 40 and 100 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of XWatch's written reviews are positive against 0% of Scoreboard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

XWatch ships an update every 6 weeks, Scoreboard monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
