# HEV vs DokPro

The clearest difference is device support: DokPro at 3 against HEV's 1. DokPro also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HEV sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and DokPro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HEV ships an update every 5 weeks, DokPro monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
