# radcam vs VHS cam

radcam and VHS cam both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 73% of VHS cam's written reviews are positive against 42% of radcam's. radcam's advantage is ratings volume (39K vs 745). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. radcam sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and VHS cam sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for radcam against 4.6 for VHS cam. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: radcam has 39K ratings behind it against 745, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 42% of radcam's written reviews are positive against 73% of VHS cam's.

radcam ships an update every 2 weeks, VHS cam every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 20, 2026.
