# MeTV App vs NuWave

The clearest difference is rating: NuWave at 3.1 against MeTV App's 2.7. NuWave also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.6). MeTV App's advantage is ratings volume (722 vs 27) and review sentiment (24% vs 14%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NuWave holds the better App Store score, 3.1 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MeTV App has 722 ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 24% of MeTV App's written reviews are positive against 14% of NuWave's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MeTV App ships an update every 6 weeks, NuWave every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
