# Flight Board vs Air Traffic

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Air Traffic at 80% against Flight Board's 32%. Flight Board's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (2K vs 9). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flight Board sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.79 per month and Air Traffic sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flight Board holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flight Board has 2K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of Flight Board's written reviews are positive against 80% of Air Traffic's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
