# Flight Board vs Flight Radar

The clearest difference is rating: Flight Board at 4.6 against Flight Radar's 1.6. Flight Board also leads on review sentiment (32% vs 0%) and ratings volume (2K vs 20). Flight Radar's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flight Board sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.79 per month and Flight Radar sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flight Board holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flight Board has 2K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 32% of Flight Board's written reviews are positive against 0% of Flight Radar's.

Flight Board ships an update every 6 weeks, Flight Radar every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
