# Stack vs Trigon FRVR

Stack and Trigon FRVR both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Trigon FRVR's written reviews are positive against 53% of Stack's. Trigon FRVR also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). Stack's advantage is ratings volume (59K vs 27) and update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stack sells 15 one-off in-app purchases and Trigon FRVR sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Stack against 4.5 for Trigon FRVR. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stack has 59K ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 53% of Stack's written reviews are positive against 100% of Trigon FRVR's.

Stack ships an update every 10 days, Trigon FRVR monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
