# Risky Road vs Flap

The clearest difference is ads: Flap at none against Risky Road's shown. Flap also leads on review sentiment (69% vs 59%) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 15.0). Risky Road's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.8) and ratings volume (2.3K vs 22). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Risky Road sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Flap sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Risky Road holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Risky Road has 2.3K ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Risky Road's written reviews are positive against 69% of Flap's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
