# Angelcam vs SecuritySpy

The clearest difference is rating: Angelcam at 4.3 against SecuritySpy's 3.5. Angelcam also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1). SecuritySpy's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SecuritySpy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Angelcam asks for nothing beyond the download.

Angelcam holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 235 and 86 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Angelcam's written reviews are positive against 57% of SecuritySpy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Angelcam ships an update every 2 months, SecuritySpy every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
