# Brain Training vs Flash Recall

The clearest difference is ads: Brain Training at none against Flash Recall's shown. Brain Training also leads on iOS requirement (7.0 vs 15.6). Flash Recall's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brain Training sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Flash Recall sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Brain Training ships an update every 3 months, Flash Recall weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
