# Tamil vs TTDevasthanams

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Tamil at 89% against TTDevasthanams's 39%. TTDevasthanams's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.3) and in-app purchases (none vs 2). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tamil sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. TTDevasthanams asks for nothing beyond the download.

TTDevasthanams holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TTDevasthanams has 1.2K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of Tamil's written reviews are positive against 39% of TTDevasthanams's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tamil ships an update every 6 weeks, TTDevasthanams every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
