# MetaBrush vs Scratch Art

The clearest difference is ads: MetaBrush at none against Scratch Art's shown. Scratch Art's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MetaBrush sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Scratch Art sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MetaBrush ships an update every 2 months, Scratch Art every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
