# VideoLUT vs Remxd

The clearest difference is rating: Remxd at 5.0 against VideoLUT's 4.3. VideoLUT's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 4 weeks) and ratings volume (356 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VideoLUT sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Remxd sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Remxd holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VideoLUT has 356 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

VideoLUT ships an update every 3 days, Remxd every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
