# WorldSBK vs LapSnap

The clearest difference is ratings volume: LapSnap at 241 against WorldSBK's 1. LapSnap also leads on review sentiment (30% vs 5%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). WorldSBK's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WorldSBK sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and LapSnap sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WorldSBK holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LapSnap has 241 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 5% of WorldSBK's written reviews are positive against 30% of LapSnap's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WorldSBK ships an update every 5 weeks, LapSnap fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
