# Wiems vs APECS

The clearest difference is rating: Wiems at 4.0 against APECS's 1.7. Wiems also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 11). APECS's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. APECS sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Wiems asks for nothing beyond the download.

Wiems holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 1.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 7 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of Wiems's written reviews are positive against 18% of APECS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
