# Find It vs Device Settings

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Device Settings at 54% against Find It's 8%. Device Settings also leads on rating (4.1 vs 2.6) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 9). Find It's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Find It sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Device Settings sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Device Settings holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Device Settings has 1.2K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 8% of Find It's written reviews are positive against 54% of Device Settings's.

Find It ships an update every 2 months, Device Settings every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
