# foolcontrol vs RED_CONTROL

The clearest difference is price: RED_CONTROL at Free against foolcontrol's $4.99. RED_CONTROL also leads on rating (4.1 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (53 vs 2). foolcontrol's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 56%) and iOS requirement (9.3 vs 15.0). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

RED_CONTROL is free to download; foolcontrol costs $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RED_CONTROL holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RED_CONTROL has 53 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of foolcontrol's written reviews are positive against 56% of RED_CONTROL's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

foolcontrol ships an update every 6 weeks, RED_CONTROL every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
