# Boletos Express vs PieTix

The clearest difference is ratings volume: PieTix at 1K against Boletos Express's 2. PieTix also leads on update cadence (every 5 months vs every 12 months). Boletos Express's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Boletos Express against 4.9 for PieTix. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PieTix has 1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Boletos Express ships an update every 12 months, PieTix every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
