# SkyLab Photo Editor vs Perspective Vision

The clearest difference is rating: Perspective Vision at 5.0 against SkyLab Photo Editor's 3.5. Perspective Vision also leads on price ($0.99 vs $4.99) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). SkyLab Photo Editor's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 13 months) and ratings volume (32 vs 1). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

SkyLab Photo Editor costs $4.99 and Perspective Vision $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Perspective Vision holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SkyLab Photo Editor has 32 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of SkyLab Photo Editor's written reviews are positive against 33% of Perspective Vision's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SkyLab Photo Editor ships an update every 2 months, Perspective Vision every 13 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
