# Julian vs Current Week

The clearest difference is rating: Julian at 4.8 against Current Week's 3.0. Julian also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (4.7K vs 2). Current Week's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 67%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Julian sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Current Week sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Julian holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Julian has 4.7K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Julian's written reviews are positive against 100% of Current Week's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Julian ships an update every 2 months, Current Week every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
