# Days vs Day Counter

The clearest difference is monetization model: Day Counter at free against Days's subscription. Day Counter also leads on review sentiment (90% vs 59%) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Days sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $59.99 per year and Day Counter sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Day Counter holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 922 and 463 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 59% of Days's written reviews are positive against 90% of Day Counter's.

Days ships an update every 2 months, Day Counter every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
