# Photo Extension Histogram vs OM Image Share

The clearest difference is price: OM Image Share at Free against Photo Extension Histogram's $1.99. OM Image Share also leads on rating (4.4 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (4.3K vs 19). Photo Extension Histogram's advantage is review sentiment (55% vs 26%) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

OM Image Share is free to download; Photo Extension Histogram costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OM Image Share holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OM Image Share has 4.3K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of Photo Extension Histogram's written reviews are positive against 26% of OM Image Share's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Photo Extension Histogram ships an update monthly, OM Image Share every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
