# Screeners vs NBCU Screeners

The clearest difference is rating: NBCU Screeners at 4.0 against Screeners's 1.7. Screeners's advantage is review sentiment (18% vs 0%) and ratings volume (25 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NBCU Screeners holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Screeners has 25 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of Screeners's written reviews are positive against 0% of NBCU Screeners's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Screeners ships an update every 3 weeks, NBCU Screeners every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
