# RGC vs Installation App

The clearest difference is update cadence: RGC at every 2 months against Installation App's every 4 months. RGC also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RGC ships an update every 2 months, Installation App every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
