# Sked vs Simple Rota Maker

The clearest difference is rating: Sked at 3.7 against Simple Rota Maker's 3.0. Sked also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (50% vs 23%). Simple Rota Maker's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sked sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Simple Rota Maker sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sked holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sked has 164 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
