# Matrix vs Tally

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Tally at none against Matrix's 1. Matrix's advantage is iOS requirement (8.2 vs 17.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Matrix sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Tally asks for nothing beyond the download.
