# The Diary by YYM vs REPLOT

The clearest difference is ads: The Diary by YYM at none against REPLOT's shown. The Diary by YYM also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). REPLOT's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 23 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Diary by YYM sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and REPLOT sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The Diary by YYM ships an update every 23 months, REPLOT every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
